Nearly There

Well, we are nearly organised and will be departing Australia on 17th March. We are overnighting in Dubai and Milan before making our way down to Bagni di Lucca for the first week.

As part of our Visa we are required to complete a Residency Permit within 8 days of arriving so will get this completed before heading over to France for April and May, where we will be staying at Zena and Tom’s house in the small village of La Roche sur la Buis.

Unfortunately our lovely Italian farm house has fallen through as the owners have sold the property, so we are now staying in the village of Bagni di Lucca in an apartment, which overlooks the river and is close to cafes, bars, restaurants and even the local casino (where roulette was invented). Many changes along the way, but all for the better we hope.

The mundane tasks of organising the removalists, getting the meters read, etc seem even more mundane given the excitement ahead of us.

  1. We are now a follower of your fantastic journey to Europe. Enjoy! Looking forward to the updates. Love Terry & Ros

  2. I look forward to following your adventures.

  3. Can’t wait to catchup up with you in July either in Sestri LeVante or Bagni Di Lucca.

  4. Bongiorno,
