Villa Isabella

On Saturday we drove from France to Italy where we are staying until the end of November. Although we were sorry to be leaving our French experience behind we are also excited about the new adventure in Italy.

Our accommodation has proven to be really great and we have unpacked and started to settle into our village lifestyle.

Villa Isabella is on the top floor and has a living room, kitchen/dining area, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 outdoor areas and a utility room. Very spacious and just the right size for the length of time we are here (plenty of room for visitors). Our views are fantastic and the sound of the water flowing down the Lima River, just 20 metres away, is quite loud but soothing. If you are coming this way we would love to see you.

We have just had our first lunch here at Villa Isabella and it is a perfect day in Ponte a Serraglio. We started with a Aperol Spritz Aperitif which was followed by a selection of prosciutto and salami with salad – the tomatoes are beautiful, really tasty. We finished with a pear, pecorino and balsamic dessert. YUM!

And the beautiful village is bathed in sunshine. This view up the river is from the street outside of the apartment.

  1. Looks like a really beautiful spot to be spending a few months. Enjoy1

    • Yes, it is a great spot to be spending some time. We are settling in and looking forward to the next 6 months.

  2. Hi Jim & Kerry – Just beautiful and we can just imagine you both kicking back with a traditional Italian anti pasto and a good local red. Over in Melbourne at the moment but was able to check the WAFL results. All I can say Jim is that something really wonderful happened at Leederville over the weekend and Jamie kicked three goals – but I don’t want to spoil desert. Let me guess Royal Blue cheese.
    Best wishes Peter & Janet

    • Eagles & West Perth – dessert was more like humble pie!

  3. Hi Kerry and Jim your travels have been spectacular and I am sure Italy will be just as good if not better! Ian & I have bought a new home in Patterson Lakes 23 Hannalore Way. you might be able to still check it out on Domain. We will be moving around 1 August. Rob x
