Autumn, butterflies, bees and other beauties

Autumn is just starting to show its colourful display here in the village with the leaves turning their golden colours.

Over the summer months the butterflies have been prolific.

  1. Beautiful, amazing, curious and great
    Love Robin

    • I bit of everything here. All beautiful.

  2. I can see you guys doing photographic work for all the old farts at the cellar doors in the Margaret River region…excellent photography…great lunch (12.30 to 9.30) with Campbells and Olsens ….lots of good reds..heaps of lies, laughs….excellent food…. but no repeat of the same for a week or so…passed on your regards

    • Sounds like a great catch up…..almost wish we were there!

  3. Great shots Kerry, you should seriously consider a guide to twelve months in Italy and France. I hope you are enjoying the change of season as much as we are.

    • Compared to WA summer here this year was quite mild. Only about three weeks of hot days and then about 28 – 33 deg each day. Beautiful at the moment and lovely and cool overnight.

  4. Just beautiful! As you say that other WA Mob are doing OK. They beatup my beloved Cats!!!!

    • It has turned out to be a good year to be away as far as the Eagles go!

  5. Kerry, your photos are amazing.

  6. Ah, the wonders of nature and great photographers!!

    • All so different over here!

  7. Superb photos, the detail & colour of the insects is brilliant. Thank goodness for digital cameras – you two would be broke if we went back to film. By the way, Freeo beat the Cats in Geelong yesterday (most unexpected ) & Collingwood got bundled out of the finals by Port – so sad! Richmond play today, we hope they can win. Oh yeah, we also have a new Prime Minister, it’s been a busy weekend & we still have Sunday to go.

    • You are right there, digital cameras are a great invention. Our team are goners but that other WA mob are doing OK.

  8. I hadn’t realised how many different types of butterfly there are in Bagni, lovely photographs 🙂

    • Thanks Andrea. All the butterfly photos were in either local gardens in the Bagni di Lucca area or up at Orrido di Botri, the national park near Montefegatesi.

  9. Great photos! Autumn seems a bit early this year.

    • By the time you arrive the leaves will be starting to fall.
